Now, in my opinion the skin itself looks immaculate. I guess the idea was meant to be that he's not really a Sentient he's just trying to look like one and sow confusion in the enemy, reminiscent of Mirage's apparent camouflage of false "eyes" on her helmet. (By the way, can we appreciate what a clever job they did of making the throwing weapons resemble a card and a Sentient simultaneously, without sacrificing either element? Because wow.) But how does a Sentient fit into drifting in and out of a Rift plane halfway between here and the Void? It does seem an odd choice. The only explanation I've gotten for why Limbo's Deluxe looks that way is because he's "tricky", hence the throwing cards. Look at Vauban Citadel! A big, armoured steam train knight guy? How could that be Vauban? And yet, because the proportions are so Vauban-like, the theme fits with his engineer theme, and the cowcatcher-like chin of the helmet is a 1:1 for Vauban's original helmet, It's still clear exactly who we're looking at even before he starts throwing down traps. Other non-IgnusDei Deluxe skins have gotten this right, too: Chroma Dynasty, Volt Proto, and Nezha Empyrean are different but still very particular in a way that makes them just not work for any other Warframe. It features a thin silhouette with asymmetric sleeves instead of the original asymmetric thigh covering and, most importantly, the helmet matches the hammerhead look that sets Loki apart for that all-important silhouette. Even Trinity Strega, the most divisive of the lot, shares the "halo" aspect of Trinity's alt helmets and features her big lobster skirt very prominently, so even in her case mistaking her for another 'frame takes some real effort. Personally I find Loki Knave the strongest from a design perspective. Rhino Palatine is a good example while he has completely different feet, a sort of muscly texture, an ornate chestplate and only the faintest wisp of Rhino's big codpiece, it's still recognisable as Rhino from a distance because it has his big silhouette. I still love IgnusDei's early Deluxe style, because while they are in some cases wildly different (like Trinity's), they're still clearly recognisable as the Warframe they're supposed to be.
